From Basic Materials, They Rise

Any product packaging will require some matter to exist; this is where custom printed packaging comes in. You are in control of what wraps your product from different thickness options to different textured surfaces. We can help you understand all the tricky stuff and create something unique!

  • The most common & preferred material type is SBS White Cardboard.
  • Thicknesses recommended for hair extensions can range up to 420 gsm, depending on the hair extension box size.
  • Any design, artwork, or pattern can be printed on them.
  • Two lamination types are available; matte and gloss.

Then there are kraft boxes or otherwise called eco-friendly material. Though they are not preferred if you want to print a colorful design, kraft boxes tend to make a natural impression when felt. A few thicknesses are available, but not as many as white cardboard.

Last but not least, rigid material is primarily used at showcase exhibits or for premium category products. Some hair extensions fall into that category and can promote the use of luxury packaging. This can come in handy when selling high-quality hair extensions or even celebrity hair extensions; they surely deserve premium packaging. As far as printing goes, there are no such limitations to printing on rigid material.

Give Your Packaging Life with Colors

Branding is another name for marketing, and colors don’t have to mean blobs or splashes.

When we say color, we mean design, which can be very simple or ridiculously complex. If the artwork is in an editable file format, preferably in .ai, .pdf, or .cdr with a minimum resolution of 300dpi, the packaging vendor can do it. With both SBS white cardboard and rigid board material, you can print as many colors, patterns and graphics as you need.

Cost-Effective Hair Extension Packaging

When we talk about kraft materials, the same cannot be said about them. Because kraft material is not processed in any way to preserve nature, they have some printing limitations. For example, you cannot laminate the kraft material because it has a textured feel, and the lamination doesn’t set evenly. Another limitation of kraft material is its inability to sustain a gradient or blended design.

Luxury Hair Extension Boxes

If we talk about rigid material, there are also certain limitations to creating rigid box packaging. For example, it is not recommended to cut out a window (which is considered an add-on) through a rigid board since they are tough to manipulate. Although there are some ways to create holes, they don’t go with the premium feel and are not recommended.

What Are Special Effects, And Are They Any Good?

In the packaging industry, special effects enhance the elegance of the product. They can and appear to convert anything ordinary into something very special and premium looking. A few are available in the market, and they are mostly called add-ons. Some add-ons are listed with brief details below;

Foiling;

A metallic impression on specific areas like your brand logo and any other areas you may want. Since this is an additional process, it affects production time and costs more than some other processes.

Spot UV:

Spot UV is one of the most used add-ons in the cosmetic packaging and can be described as a transparent raised layer to highlight specific parts. The process can only be used on matte laminated boxes because the only way to make it work is by using matte lamination.
